Won't replace television that quit working within 15 days of purchase ripoff

My son recently moved into his own apartment after having lived with roommates for several years. We bought a lot of essentials at Walmart including a 20 inch television.

After 15 days, the television quit working. He is working full time and taking classes part time and money is pretty tight for him. He returned to the store to ask them to replace it and was told that they could do nothing for him and in fact treated him quite rudely.

Does anyone know what Walmart's policy is on returns or if there is anyone he can turn to for assistance?
