AMR Long Distance
Charges I did not authorize. I don't know WHAT to call THIS!

I recently saw charges on my VISA card for $48.79 per month... Charges I did not authorize. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges, which we are doing.
My statement did not give a company name, only "Long Distance Subscription" and a phone number. I tried for days to get through on this number, but it was always busy. I called my credit card company again and they gave me the name of the company charging my card... AMR Long Distance Service. I couldn't even cancel the subscription... I couldn't get through! I'm not really sure how they got my information to begin with!
Well, since I finally had the name of the company, I did a search on the internet, which brought me to this site. I read through the reports and called every single number I found. Amazingly enough, the same girl answered for every single phone number! The customer rep I talked to told me that the California office billed my card this time, a Nebraska company billed my card before.
What the hell? The same person answers all the phone numbers, but you all are not affiliated? Something is amiss, eh? I told this rep that I was at the moment looking at all usacomplaints. Coms for his company... He was speechless.
Well, needless to say, this company will NOT be getting their money. The charges are in dispute and, well, the next payment won't be able to be made cause my card is up to the limit now. Picked a bad card to charge!:-)
