Love Seats Picked Up Five Days After Ending Lease

We had been paying on 2 love seats from Aaron's for 1 1/2 years, but we had to terminate the agreement. According to the company's contract, as long as you notify them before the due date, they are supposed to pick up your furniture, and that's that.

They were called on May 14th, 1 day before the due date, and told that we did not want to keep the furniture and did not want to pay for another month. They said they would be by to pick it up immediately and that there were no problems. They did not come that day or the next. I then called to say that I wanted the furniture gone so that we would not incur any more charges on it. This did no good.

I have called them every day this week and have always talked to Jerry, who is supposedly the manager of this store. The furniture was finally picked up today, May 19th. The delivery driver told me there was no charge due to the long wait, but 20 minutes after they left with the furniture, Jerry called my house asking how I will pay for this month's rent on the furniture. I don't have the money to pay for this month, and that's why I gave up the furniture. I believe they took five days so that I would have to pay another payment!
