Unauthorized charges to credit card

I received a credit card bill with a 9.99 charge to UMG Buyers Edge... I had never heard of this company, and I had purposely stopped using this particular credit card, so I knew something was up. When I looked them up on the internet, I found a lot of claims of fraudulence against them. I did call them up and ask them to remove the charges from my credit card, at which time they tried to talk me into "keeping my membership" which I had never authorized in the first place!!! They say the charges will be credited to my card, but this remains to be seen.
