Watch out Portland! The sales and marketing scams are here!!!

If you got an invite like this to an interview... Beware! I had an interview with JSM International on Friday and got this on Sunday night after 9pm. If you are a victim of this scam, report them, call the papers, the news stations, Willamette Week, The Oregonian, whoever will listen to you. They might claim to be reputable and yes, they might make some money, but you are their worker bee and they make the money in the end. Let's just say I've been there and done that with a different cult like scam several years back, and I can smell this a mile away. Please be careful and get out or don't even bother going to the interview! Rebuttle me and then let me tell you a thing or two about what it is like on this end.

I am seeking individuals to fill the position of Sales Representative as well as possible management opportunities within my office. After reviewing your resume, I see that you possess some of the necessary qualifications to be a candidate for a position with us.

The next step in this process will be to conduct interviews this week at my regional office in Portland. I would like to schedule an interview with you on, Tuesday or Wednesday, April 4th or 5th at 1:00 P.M.

The purpose of our interview will be to get into more specific details such as compensation, company leads, training, products, etc. I am looking forward to meeting you in person.
