Ripoff Did not pay employee expenses

I went out of town on company business with the manager and other employees and drove my own vehicle. I was told that the trip would be paid for which included gas for my vehicle, hotel and food expenses. I had to pay for my own gas, food and was told by the manager that he did not have any money for the trip. He wanted me and the other employees to stay at his fathers house. I felt uncomfortable because I just started with the company and did not feel right staying at this unknown mans house. I left the trip and went home. A employee that was on the trip told me that the manager did have money that he was supposed to use for our expenses. When I got home I got a phone call from the manager because he left the deposit bag in my vehicle. I did not know there was a deposit bag at all none the less left in my car. I got the bag and told the other employee on the phone the contents of the bag. There was no cash in the bag except money orders, a few quarters and some empty envelopes. The employee agreed that all of that was correct. A few days later, the manager called and told me that I stole $300 dollars from that bag. I stated to him that I had a witness that there was no money in the bag. From my experience with this company, they are a very shady, unreliable, unprofessional, unorganized company.
