Ripoff free issues not really free fraudelent practices

We used thier service once for a year, recieving thier "Safety Alert" newsletters. There was absolutely nothing in these newsletters that assisted our company in anyway. We then cancelled thier service in 2004.in 2005 they telephoned us again and wanted us to look at thier newsletter again, to which we stated that we didnt get any value out of the last time. The salesman stated that he would send us two "FREE" newsletters for review. We began getting these newsletters every week, and the company makes SURE that there isn't a contact phone number to call and cancel. We merely refused these newsletters so that they could be sent back. Recently we have been getting calls from thier "collection" department. I tried to tell Mr. Bennett that we did not have this subscription. He stated that he had the birth date of our Vice President as subscription confirmation. I questioned my employee and he said that he merely agreed to look at the two FREE newsletters. I told this representative that we did not agree to ANY subscription and that I had returned the newsletters and even called twice to cancel. He then asked me how I could possibly of called as there is NO number listed on the invoices. My answer was, "ever heard of anywho.com." Needless to say he did not like my answer and tried to get us to SETTLE, by only paying 1/2 the amount due. I told him NO. He then said he would then just merely send a bad report to be placed on my credit report. Buyer beware
