1-800 enrollment rip-off

Received my phone bill from Verizon, and had a charge of $12.50 for Voicemail Services from ILD Telecomunications. Verizon referred me to ILD. I contacted ILD, and was told that I had enrolled in a "1-800" service via their web site. When I denied that claim, ILD quickly back-pedaled, and agreed to credit all charges (seems that there was to be another charge next month) and remove me from their roles.
