ProTeleServices - Dale Martin
Ripoff, dishonest, scam

The person who I've been dealing with is Dale Martin, President. His company is supposed to telemarket on my behalf and send me mortgage leads. He was originally asking for $50 per lead for 30 leads which totaled $1,500. We had settled on 30 leads at $40 per lead with $750 payable up front and the remaining $450 payable after the 18th lead.

I signed the contract and sent him the money on 1/20/06. The service was supposed to start on 1/25/06 but to date, I have not received any leads. When I contacted him at the end of the first week on or about 1/27/06, he stated that weather was bad and most of his workers had called out and he promised I would be getting in leads starting the week of 1/30.

I have tried contacted him almost ten times since. Each time I called, Amanda (the secretary) would say that he's not in. Each time, I would leave a message to call me when he gets in. And each time, he would not return my call.

The last two time I've called (2/10 and 2/13, I was told by Amanda that he wasn't in. When I started asking to speak with ANYONE else besides her and questioning why she's the only one in the office each time I call, she put me on hold and within five seconds, Dale came on the phone. He claimed that she wasn't aware he was in. I have asked for my money back both times and she stated that he will send it later this week when the Accountant is in. You don't need an Accountant to send a refund via paypal. It's just another delay tactic.

I searched the web and there was a complaint with ProTeleServices. It's a similar situation where the other person mentioned that Amanda would answer the calls and make endless excuses.
