Did not return my very expensive item that I contracted them to sell on Ebay RIPOFF

In July I brought a very expensive item (Hand Carved Ivory Temple) in and signed papers for this company to photo it and present it online (Ebay) by a auction contract. I gave them my email, home address, home phone and they said they would call me after they photo this item and started the presentation process, they also would send me photo's

After a few weeks and I had not heard from them, I went to the business to check it out. The owners wife brought my item up and said that they where still in the process of photo's, presentation and would call me. After a few weeks and I had not heard anything. I returned to the business, but the doors where locked. They would not answer their phone or emails. I then left messages under the door and with the business next door. I was requesting the return of my item.

This was important because I was moving from this area and concerned about it's condition. No one has ever contacted me so I consider this stolen by owner. I had moved and was unable to file a report with the city local. This business has reopened but they will not respond to my request to return this item. This piece was a one of a kind (#'d), museum quality workmanship and the business seemed legitment.

They would also not return information to the BBB in request of this case.
