Yesterday I went into this pet store to look at the bird foods. I wandered over to the birds to see what kinds they had there and that is when I noticed the horrible conditions of the animal cages. Every bird cage was dirty and covered in waste, the parakeet cage had brown water for them to drink. I looked at every bird cage and it was the same thing. It looks like no one ever cleans these cages. I was so upset I told the woman up front that the budgie cage has dirty water, it looked like it was not changed in months... They did not look like they had a healthy diet either, food bowls on the bottom and knocked over. I could not stand the sight, I felt so bad for them I had to leave.
