RIPOFF Big Ego Rip Off Artist

Purchased a leather A2 flight jacket from this company. He advertises himself as the best in the world as far as workmanship, materials, and authenticity. Well, after having the jacket just a few days the leather on the arm, from the elbow to across the front of the forearm split. The seller said that if it was a rip from the factory he'd replace the item, if it was due to the grain of the leather I was out of luck. Well I also thought that faulty material was the responsibility of the mgr and not the consumer.in this guys mind, if the material if faulty it's the consumers problem. Furthmore, he said he would not take the item back since I used leather softener on it (in an effort to control the growing spit which initally looked like a minor imperfection only to grow 6 inches long!!!).

I paid $380 for this jacket including the shipping and 2% paypal charge this guy hit me up for. I checked some forums for those of us who collect WWII style A2 flight jackets only to find this guy has an established reputation for this kind of behavior. Well, I filed a claim with Mastercard (Paypal states that their protection only covers goods NOT delivered) and I will refuse to pay for this item. Let Mastercard reverse the charge to Paypal and Paypal can suspend my account. Paypal can work this out with the merchant since he won't deal with me.

My advise - if you're looking for a flight jacket go to Aero Leather Clothing or US Authentic. Don't give Lost Worlds Inc your business or you could find yourself with over priced shoddy goods...
