He tried to said I was protected my federal act, which I was not. The law clearly stated that I was not. He argued with the goverment back and forth and I recieved a bill for $2,500.
He told me the I was unable to research the law, but I was able to on the internet, I also talk to the man that wrote the bill, and the congressman who lobbied the bill which become the Federal Firefighter Overtime Act.
The second case he advised me to keep fighting it. I ended up losing the whole case, and recieved a bill, for. I could have settled for half the attorney fees and a clear name. The lawyer was greedy and wanted to fight more, but we couldn't.
