Ripoff short on trust

Payed for 2 shipments by Credit Card in September (not halloween goods). Despite website statements on stock levels and shipping nothing recieved at all!

Repeated emails unanswered until 7th Novemeber when I altered the tone of my mails - threatening to take action over non shipped goods. Then suddenly a flood of emails from Doxy, some unpleasant and some threatening.

Firstly doxy claimed to have been waiting for emails from me re. Delivery, this progressed to Doxy claiming to have emailed demands for additional shipping - nothing recieved and nothing on the website about shipping payment for international orders.

Doxy demanded that I agree to pay an imediate $8.95 in order for the goods to be shipped, I aggreed on condition that Doxy explain why my earlier mails had been ignored - despite repeated requests this question was not answered, I finally aggreed to pay anyhow. The answer was immediate!

Doxy would not ship unless I agreed to a higher charge of $29.95, if I failed to agree then Doxy would cancel my order - at this stage I asked a friend to intervene. He demanded that Doxy honour the contract.

Doxy responded in her most threatening manner, stating that any further emails would be treated as harrasment and that after having taken legal advice action would be taken, also she claimed to have added my friend to an international credit database for bad payers, informing him that he would never again be able to buy anything online or on credit.

Mr friend once again replied informing doxy that I was contacting my card issuer and reporting a possible fraud. The response to this was to inform me that she would not refund my money!

A further considered and legally correct response was sent and Doxy further replied that the money would indeed be refunded, at close of business on 7th November. (I did not report the possible fraud then, giving Doxy a chance to do the right thing).

Yesterday (15th November) having recieved only $21 dollars of the $245 spent and getting no response to emails, I commenced reporting Doxy to the relevant authorities - FBI online fraud office, Michigan law enforcement and of course my Credit Card issuer.
A further point to note, many sites link to Doxy including Yahoo - there is no guarantee that a linked trader is to be trusted!
