LLC ripoff AT&T and I have never utilized AT&T for my wireless carrie

Recently, a collection account appeared in my credit report as I was trying to refinance my house. It turns out that the company reporting it is Palisade Collection LLC for $227 for an alleged AT&T wireless bill. The plot thickens, however, for the past seven years this same fraudulent debt has appeard on and off my credit report with AT&T as the original lender. I mean fraudulent because I have never utilized AT&T for my wireless carrier. During the past seven years, I've had to dispute it with the credit agencies and was always taken off. This time, however, Experian did not take it off because according to them Palisade Collection validated the bad debt.

After reading all of the postings here it seems to me that there may me some collusion between AT&T and Palisade because all of the fraudulent accounts are generated by AT&T as the original lender, maybe?

I'm very upset that we are all treated and damaged like idiots because it is not in the interest of the reporting agencies to really lose Palisade as a client, so they hide behind poorly written laws to limit their investigation to a mere electronic akcnowledgment from the scam artists (Palisade and AT&T). I think that we need to file a class action at minimum. I am in the process of retaining legal counsel to this effect. I will sue whether the claim qualifies for class action status or not.
