Ripoff

Everything was fine and dandy at first, Nick, the sales man was very profesional and polite. Gave me my quote for 5500 lbs @ $0.50/lb and we were looking forward to our move. They even called to see if they could pick our stuff up early so it would be delivered the day after we arrived. (we were moving from California to Arkansas). They were supposed to deliver our stuff 3 days after they picked it up as we weren't even leaving for 2 days after they picked it up.

The FIRST problem was when they called the NEXT DAY after they picked it up and wanted to deliver the stuff, i told them that we were in CA still and it was impossible.

The SECOND problem was when we did arrive, I got a message from the driver that the weight was 2,000 lbs less than the estimate and the remaining balance would only be $250. I was JAZZED! BUT THEN, Elih from the office called and said no matter what the weight it, they then adjust the cost per lb to meet the estimate so they don't lose any money. After arguing for 2 hours we finally gave in and just said ok.

The THIRD problem was when the driver showed up at 11PM to deliver our stuff, IN A DIFFERNT TRUCK, and ALONE! Then we came to find out that since we weren't available right away they unpacked our stuff in someone's GARAGE and left it there for 2 days! Then they rented a Penske truck to deliver our stuff!

The FOURTH problem was that the three most expensive things we shipped, they did not take care of and were damaged. A $2000 painting was just put in 2 boxes taped together with no bubble wrap or anything so it was sliding around in the boxes the whole time, our big screen tv was very poorly packaged (after charging over $170 to wrap and 'crate' it) and therefore it was damaged and our large wall mirror was obvoiusly dropped very hard on the corner which broke the frame.

The FINAL (well, not really) problem is we can't get anyone to talk to us now! We have left numerous messages and no one will talk to us! I now found out that this company has over 36 complaints in the past year! What a mess.
