Made attempts to force me into paying a bill that was not mine RIPOFF

I was told tonight by cbcs that I owe 142.24 due to a outstanding bill with SBC phone company and was yelled at and tried to be threatened about disclossing info. If they need to ask then they don't have it. I am a little luckier for the fact that my wife is a debt collector with a legitament company. Read further

After reading several complaints about CBCS and having a run in with them I can not believe that a class action suite has been brought against them. For information that I seen was asked on this site here is a little more info for people wanting to know: their company started in 1997, the genral manager is mr. Brian Striker, collection manager is mr. Enrique Bello and medical collection manager is mr. Mark Lednick there direct line is (614) 222-5559.

This company is a third party collector which means they have to follow certian guidelines set for by the federal gov. I am lucky because I am actually married to a debt collector who works for a rebutable company. But all should know that this company violates all sorts of laws and are being reported through my wifes work as well.

I am not sure what can be done as of yet but I hope that people will continue to write complaints on this company. And if anyone has any knowledge about a suit that may have been settled against this company it would be of great help to share it as well.
