Sprint rips off young service man

What can one say about Sprint when it comes to dealing with young, inexperienced men who are away from home serving their country.

The first thing you get when your away from home is lonely. The next thing you get is a cell phone so you can stay in touch with your family and friends. The worst thing you can do is get that phone from Sprint.

They will tell you that you get thousands of minutes free after 9 PM. The catch is if someone from another time zone calls you even though it's after 9 PM in their time zone, your wireless phone is racking up the chargable minutes at a cost of a whopping. 40 cents per minute.

It's obvious that these thieves don't bother to explain this clearly because no one in their right mind will spend 171 miuntes talking to someone if they are aware of this.

If you go down to their office to plead for some consideration they don't do anything for you. If you try to call them and talk to a customer rep, they want to charge you three dollars for the privilage.

Sprint is right in the lead when it comes to making offers of special packages just to screw you over later. I know most all wireless companys suck but after MCI, Sprint is trying real hard to get into first place.

The real shame is the they are screwing over some one who makes almost no money serving their country. No matter what the reasons for the charges, Sprint should have made an adjustment in their bill.

If your son or daughter ever go into the armed forces please advise them to be careful of these wireless phone companies and their slick promotions.

FORTY CENTS PER MINUTE is an outrage and Sprint should be asamed of themselves for ripping off service men and women, ESPECIALLY the young and lonely ones.
