United Van Lines Not trustworthy, unorganized, Do not live up to promises Ripoff, New York, Ohio

This was the move from hell. Everything right from the start was goofed up. I was promised a driver from there office in my hometown, Because I was told they were the best drivers for United Van Lines and this agent Corrigan. A driver from Kentucky shows up and doesn't really have a clue what kind of heavy things I had. I have a 800 pound hot tub the driver would not even touch. As of today 2 weeks later it is still at my hose I moved out of. About 20 minutes after the driver arrived at my home he found out he a Priority Plus Military shipment. The driver tells me to have him load just what I really needed and another tuck would finish the load. So I would have my just a bed and clothes when I arrived 800 miles away from my hometown, and the rest of the things would show up whenever. So I called my United agent and they passed the other load off to someone else. So the moral to the story is only Priority Plus military shipments are important to United Van Lines - Corrigan.

One of my main concerns going into this was, that the driver not get his help for loading, and unloading off from the streets. Like some bum or something close. So the driver arrives at my new home 800 miles away, and out comes a guy and a girl with no uniforms on. I asked about them and he told me he picked his help up from a temp agency. Well the female helper was overweight, and had slippers on. She stood around all night with her arms crossed and was cocky to my wife and I. Oh let me also mention the the driver showed up at 4:30 in the afternoon to unload things for a 4000 square foot house, needless to say they did not leave until 12:30 am and that was after the semi got stuck in my lawn and tore it up for 45 min.

There is so much more to tell. Please consider someone else to move you other then United Van Lines or Corrigan Moving & Storage.
