North Leap
I contacted North Leap because of an ad in the local newspaper advertising for a local Office Clerk, full or part time, warnings about it being a rip off makes me skeptical

Advertised in local newspaper: Office Clerk-local office-clerical full or part time-general office duties include data entry-competitive wage - call: 412-272-0170.

I called this phone number and was given an 800 number: 800-677-1641.

Gave credit card info for a charge of $79.95 to receive information for data entry work at home... Spoke with Carrie Anderson, who was very nice and gave a lot of information, including that she lived just down the street and worked there for 8 years. I asked if this was a scam, and she stated that she was never asked that before, but assured me I could get a refund within 90 days for amount except $12.00.

She assured me that there were 2 companies in the PA area needing data entry clerks, and she was assigning me to one. I was told that if I paid by check or credit card, it would take longer to receive the information to get started, so I gave debit card info to receive the info within 4-5 working days. It has been 2wks, and I have received nothing. I was told that "Norse" was the provider of the information of the data entry service, and they are contracted with 130 companies.

So much information was given to me by Carrie Anderson, that it sounded as though it had to be legitimate!!! After reading the rip offs reports for North Leap, I am very skeptical.

If I hear from them, I will send a rebuttal...
