Ripoff, liars, unreal, nasty

This all started Feb 24. This lady Dawn calls and wants me to take care of my credit card charges over the phone. I explained to her I do not take care of the bills and my husband would when he gets home. She wouldnt take that for an answer and insisted on my giving her my checking account information. Finally she gave up.

When I got off the phone with her I went online to check the balance and it was $111.33. We never received any bills so where did this come from all of a sudden.

My husband called when he came home and he was told while the conversation was recorded that we had several late fees on there. We were told to pay the bill by Feb 28 and we would not be turned in for bad credit. The supervisor said pay by credit card or checking online. So we went to pay by credit card and it would not allow us and then we were going to send in a check but the fine print says it takes five days to process. My husband called again to ask the supervisor why we couldnt pay by credit card and he said he never said we could. He also said he could not check the recorded conversation.

The internet stated the bill was due by 3/18/05 and they told us no later than 2/28/05.

The did take off a late fee so our bill was $86.33. We did pay it because we didnt want to get back credit.

Not only did we pay money we did not owe, we were turned in for bad credit anyway. We never did receive the original bill, only ones with the late charges owed. This is almost fair that a company can take people's money get away with it and then turn them in for a mistake that was NOT theirs.
