Puppyfind. Melody's Toys melodystoydogs stole my money

I was ripped off by Melody and Ron Gravitt of Talihina Oklahoma. I sent $500 for a toy poodle and upon driving to OK from MS (over 8 hours) to pick up my puppy I found that they had sold my puppy to another buyer. She did not have the money to refund me but had a puppy she would give me and hand deliver at no extra charge.

I went home disappointed but I had been given a sad story of a sick child and did not want to add any pressure to this family.

I was given several different dates as to when the Gravitts would bring my puppy to me before finally she emailed saying that the puppy had died. She has dragged this out for almost 5 months now and has changed her phone number once during this course.

She has not once returned my phone calls and only occasionally emails back. Upon my last email I spoke of an attorney and she assured me I would get a payment and would get my money back. They sent $25.00.

I was asked to overnight my money to them or they could not hold the dog for me and after this $25 there has been no word although I have called and emailed many times. There are reputable breeders out there but they are not one of them I have notified AKC, CKC, Puppyfind all of which did not even respond to me.

I work hard for my money and I can not afford to just throw away $500. These people are crooks and should be held accountable for their actions.
