Report to a class action law firm, to the FCC, to your state Attorney General

We had a horrible experience with Worldcom Wireless. We ended our service on the expiration date of the 1 year contract because they never sent bills, then 3 weeks later began to get threatening letters. The letters said the account was suspended and demanded money we'd already paid them. We reported them to the FCC, the FCC served them with a complaint and they never answered it, which is illegal. They continued to send threatening letters for money we don't owe them and just this week reported us to a collection agency. They never sent actual bills with a breakdown of what the charges represent (dates, phone numbers), just a blank amount of money, demanding to be paid or they would send it to collection. We have been forced to hire a lawyer.

Report this terrible company to the Federal Communications Commission: www.fcc. Gov, phone 1-888-225-5322 The FCC will serve them with a complaint, but the FCC seems to be ineffective and they don't do much unless they get a lot of complaints on one company. So report your experience!

Report them to the Office of the Attorney General in your state. The Office of the Attorney General in our state has a consumer protection function, and they are probably more on the ball than the FCC.
