Ripoff, absolute LIARS!

I just found this website as I was searching for any possible class action suits against this Horror of a "Law: office. I, too, was ripped off by these things that allege to be "lawyers" to help you settle your debt to the IRS. It is all a big, fat scandal!!!

They took over TWO years to get my paperwork together (which they constantly made mistakes on). By the time they got that together I got a pay raise making the OIC incorrect. It goes on and on... The bottom line is that in the time it took them to get their s... Together and make a ridiculous offer of $20.00, I lost (as well as losing an appeal).

Now I am further in debt with the IRS and will declare BK to discharge most of it. The offices are "sharks" when they want their money! I paid for LEGAL representation-but RARELY did I ever talk to an atty. After LONG waits on hold etc., you get to speak to a "representative" who really isn't even working on your case-they just field the calls.

There has to be something done about the scare tactics they use to make people believe that they will settle your case for pennies on the dollar.in reality, offers in compromise are extrememly difficult to do. I would like to sue them for malpractice, negligance and what ever else can come under the umbrella of their absolutely worthless practice!!!
