Moved on 5/28 from home in dix hills to townhouse in melville only 9 miles away quoted fee of $1622 and time needed of about 9-10 hrs move took 19.5 hrs and was charged $2865. At 2 am the next and with 1/5 of cartons/stuff still on truck in or walk way driver told us to get more money or? Also wanted money in cash. Gave 1/2 cash and 1/2 chk stopped chk on next business day. Dont have enough room or time to tell entire story of move from hell BUT have been to small claims court 3 times and obtained to verdicts in our favor was paid money for some damages but not for all and was not pais a penny for the overcharges.
