Ripoff dishonesty giving false information Madisonville

I purchased a female sphynx on April 2 from Jackie after seeing an ad on her web sight and talked to her a couple of times in regards to colors and prices of the kittens. She told me she had a female and the price was $1,500.00. She told me it had a little fuzz' but that it would fall out as she got older. I called her back about a week later after I had no luck finding another female for a cheaper price in the Kentucky or Indiana area to set up a meeting place to see the kitten. I met Jackie, her daughter, along with a friend of mine, Linda and her 17 year old daughter after work in the parking lot (she was in Owensboro doing errands) of where I worked. She brought two kittens, a black one and a gray one, both of which had fur.

When I saw the kittens, I mentioned to her that she had more fur than I anticipated through our phone conversations and that I was interested in breeding her with my male sphynx. She told me the kittens would lose the fur as she got older and she even called her mother Sharon, at which time she told her the kitten would lose it. I hesitated as I told her I did not want to pay this kind of money for a kitten with fur. But was reassured when they both told me she would be bald as she grew older. Again I hesitated and was going to purchase the gray one as it had less fur than the black one but then Jackie told me she was not sure if she had the right papers with her for the gray one. Thats when I decided on the black female. I later talked with two other breeders about my purchase and what the kitten looked like and e-mailed them a picture, they both assured me that this kitten would NOT lose its fur and as a matter of fact she would grow more as she matured and told me as sphynx breeders they should have known this. They also told me this kitten is considered a very poor quality kitten and would not be sold for $1,500.00. It would sell for no more than $600.00 I was shocked to hear this so I then e-mailed Jackie and Sharon to voice my concern about their dishonesty.

At which their response was: a business deal is a business deal. I have e-mailed them many times after that but got no response. After not hearing from them about resolving this matter I reported them to the BBB. Jackie or Sharon did not respond to them either. I feel Jackie and Sharon took advantage of my ignorance and as a breeder KNEW this fact all along and turned this business deal into a con game. All I am asking for is half my money back because I was deceived in this business transaction And I feel they knew it all along.
