MCi Worldcom Ripoff Wireless, Inc. — Bad Bad Business

In August I ordered a Worldcom Wireless phone as a gift for my husband. Since then the phone has never worked correctly. We have never been able to set up voice mail and the phone always is on Roam. We also have not received a bill yet. They continue to send us statements which are now up in the $300's but they come with bright pink slips telling us not to pay this it is not an invoice and we will receive another one in the mail.

I have tried calling them no less the 20 times already and no answer. Two days ago I stayed on the line waiting for them to pick up. It took them 35 minutes before a live person got on the phone with me. I told them the phone had been stolen and also I wanted to cancel the phone out since we have not gotten the service promised.

They were very rude and told me I could not cancel it since it was now in my husbands name even though I ordered it. So I called back again that night and again I waited another 25 minutes before a live person got on the phone. I went through the whole thing again and this time put my husband on the phone to cancel it.

They told him he couldn't cancel it because we had a contract. I have never seen a contract nor have I ever signed a contract. They told him we would be getting a bill for another $250 for the broken contract. So it looks like we will have a long fight on our hands now.

The invoice coming for $250 plus a final bill we have never gotten yet that keeps ringing $ signs. I would never do business with them again and I do not intend to pay for something we did not get the correct use out of. Their Customer Service is the worst I have ever dealt with. This company needs to be put out of business before they rope more people into it.
