Living Scriptures - religious cartoon tapes and books.
The tapes are done well but they are very short. $35.00 each for a 1/2 hour tape and coloring book.
We found that once you sign - up to have these tapes sent to your home - you are bound to purchase the entire series. The salesman did not present it this way and we were very surprised to find that we were obligated to nearly $1500 worth of tapes with no way out!
They are not worth $35 - $10 maybe and I certainly would not have intended to buy 43 sets! The best way to do this is to sign up for a few tapes & then take advantage of the specials which they offer you during the year. Otherwise, you can't reduce your original commitment, eventhough you take advantage of the special!
The company did talk to us on the phone - however they would not
release us from the obligation - I still owe them just under $1000 and they are tying up $2500 worth of my credit.
