Ripoff dishonest unauthorized debit from account refused to send copies of information

Information from CCA was sent in the mail to my home, offering to build credit through a credit card that could only be used to buy items from a catalog issued by the company. My fiance' called their 1-800 number to get information. They stated that although he was not interested then, they could gather his account information without billing him incase he decides to order.

They debited his account for 199.00$. He called them and told them that he did not want the catalog or credit card and to stop all transactions. They informed him to write a letter requesting the cancelation.

He did that and now they say that they did not recieve the letter and refused to cancel the account after debiting another 200.00$. He demanded to speak with a manager and the manager could not explain why the money was pulled from his account, and refused to send us copies of paper work. She also hung up the phone during their conversation.

We knew that we did not return the paper work requested by the company in order to open the CCA credit account! They have stolen our money and the catalog they sent us had nothing but junk in it. We are attempting to get a refund but are not sure of that yet. We now have to close that account and open a new one.
