Ripoff Refused to provide my refund upon canceling and returning product Tinley Park IL

I ordered a supply of MyDietPatches back in October.
When I received the order, I tried the patches for 5 days and not one patch would stick. I called the company on several occasions for helpful tips in an effort to make the product work.
Needless to say at the end of the second week I called requesting a refund because I was so upset that the system would not work. Customer service gave me an email address to write to and provided me the address to send the un-used patches back.
After numerous emails to credits@MyDietPatches.com, I finally got a response stating that they received my order back and had issued the credit back on to my credit card.
I have waited several billing cycles now and was told two months ago that they sent/mailed out a check for the full refund because the credit never showed up on my credit card.
I have yet to receive a check. And to make matters worse, the email address they gave me to communicate is no longer valid. I am at a loss as to how to recover my money.
Any suggestions?
