I consider myself a very cautious person, and can't believe I fell for the scam

I just learned about this web site today and as I read the letters, I became more and more frustrated in that "we" (the distributors) have allowed these rip-off artists in Florida to bask in the sun spending our hard-earned dollars. I'm still confident that every distributor that has experienced the trials and tribulations of doing business with Espresso/Italia will come forward, unite, and do something about it.

I, too, allowed them to scam me, and during my personal interview with Shadd, Richard, Patrick, and others, I heard the answers that they wanted me to hear. "Great Customer Service, delivery beyond even the greatest expectations, and "personal" locators... All I had to do was deliver the machines and head to the bank". (Well, we all know this is not the case). Now, what are we going to do about it?

These people are "Professionals at their best". They have scammed us all, and now that our checks are cashed, they are enjoying the benefits of our hard-earned money.

After several very difficult discussions concerning delivery of machines and appointment settings (after machines started arriving), I attempted to offer suggestions for improvement to Richard Sciacchetano and pleaded for his involvement as the office manager. I got plenty of promises from Richard, along with many unreturned phone calls. All communication from Espresso/Italia has halted. It is my opinion that the Strategy of their organization is to "sign-up distributors" - not to help them be successful. Their committment seems to end once they've cashed the check.

One last comment to the lady that rebuttled from New York that is running a very successful Espresso Business... I am very happy for you, and you should be proud of your accomplishments. But, non-the-less, the distributors that have documented their unpleasant experiences on this site have obviously not been awarded the same opportunities and/or services from Espresso/Italia. I still feel this business "could" be a great thing "if Espresso/Italia was sincere and possessed the ethics to help make it happen. You are obviously doing well and have found great clients. "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile".
