Frozen flowers

I received a birthday gift of flowers from my daughter. She requested a morning delivery. However, the flowers arrived on my doorstep at 5:45 pm. Upon opening the package and following the instructions for trimming the stems, I noticed that the dainty flowers and stems were frozen, while some of the other flowers and stems were partially frozen. The temperatures here reached a high of 38 and 22 in the morning. I'm assuming they were in the UPS truck all day in less than ideal temperatures. I know my daughter paid a bit for these flowers. I am very disappointed in this company.
