I ordered a credit report from this company (CIC) about 6 months to 1 year ago. Last month (12/04) I found a charge from them on my credit card for $9.95. They said I ordered a 1 time report from their website. I didn't order this report. I live in California and the new Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act allows you to order a report once a year for free. So there is no way I would pay for this when I can get it free.
