A few days ago, I was shopping at Talbot with my friend, and there was a rack of clothes that were on sale. I found a lovely jacket that fit me, and the tag said $5, so I was thrilled. However, the lady at the cash register rang it up (and it scanned as $5), but then changed the price to $25 without explanation. She then told me one of the employees must have made a mistake, and that it was really $25 in a condescending tone. When I told her where I found it, she just asked me very rudely, "Do you want to buy it or not?" in a tone that suggested she didn't want to sell anything to me. I was very disappointed with the service.
