Steinhausen Direct
Order recorded check over phone info given to two employees product not rec'd, customer service passes buck Ripoff

Placed order for a watch 10/12/04; received name of agent, agent #, confirmation number and was advised order was recorded as it was paid by check over phone. I made multiple calls to Steinhausen Direct at order number 1-800-670-1217 and customer service # given at order time of 1-877-868-2933. No return calls. Called for Supervisor, Maria. Maria states I never placed order (?!!!). I explained my order call was recorded, gave her date, name of agent that took order, his employee number and my order number which matched in format and detail a "real" confirmation number. I asked her, as Supervisor of Customer Service to request an investigation as my checking account now had a security breach with two employees having the detail. She asked me to call another company EyeWorks??? She, as Supervisor of the department whose phone number given to me when I placed my order, refuses to investigate.

Again, this is trying to buy their product and not trying to return it. I have grave concerns about how they operate. My suggestion to you is DO NOT BUY A STEINHAUSEN! I have not been able to find a main office contact to make my complaint.
