My telephone bills never was more than 20 to 50 dollars for as long as i've lived in chicago. Then started calling regular direct calls to my girlfriend in las vegas. She did make one collect call to me which i accepted, but when my october bill came i had 3 or 4 more collect calls costing over $300!!! And a total bill of$623.

SBC let some oddball third party companies bill me for the extra calls and would not help me correct my bill. Also MCI charged me $168 for the one collect call i accepted. The next month in november my bill was $240 with a new third party company billing me for calls to Deigo Garcia?!!! No help from SBC again.

I'm sure my december bill will have more fraudulent charges on it too. SBC is carrying the water for these companies and if you don't pay they will ruin your credit. SBC tells you to call these companies to correct the bill but the companies refuse to investigate the charges.
