Ripoff Damaged Expensive Furniture and T.V. Lost parts of furniture

I used Fair Price Moving in June to move my articles from Miami to Brooklyn, NY. They informed me that I had adequate insurance to cover my expensive custom built furniture. They mentioned no additional options of insurance.

On delivery day, the mover dropped and broke my 32" television, which they had packed themselves. They stored my furniture improperly and my $500 leather coffee table top was burned through the fabric. Glass coffee table top was never delivered.

Three lamp stands were never delivered to me and my sofa legs were broken off.

The movers forced my loveseat through my door and ripped the fabric on both arms. I had to let them throw it out after they damaged it beyond use.

I put a claim in and for all this damage they wanted to give me $60. I told them they can keep it. The salesperson I dealt with said she mentioned additional insurance in our first conversation. This was one of those fast read fine prints. It was never told to me again. As specified before, I was told that I ahd enough insurance on moving day. I paid them $1700 for this move and got no respect for my property, lost boxes, damaged items, and late delivery.

They promised a lot on the phone, but delivered very little.
