Us Grant Company
Told me they were with the government and said i had a 10,000 grant

I got a phone call one Saturday evening in october in the middle of the month they told me that this was a US Grant company. I had a $10,000 grant they wanted to send me. They ask to verify my last four digit of my ss# and address.

They told me they would send it to my home, and nobody could sign for it but me. I said what do I need to do.

They said if you are intrested we'll transfer you to our recorded confirmation line. I said okay. On the recorded line they ask for my name, address, banking info and account number. I gave them the info.

They put on this recording you can barely understand of terms and condition. I said I didn't agree. The opertor came back online and said it is everything we discuss about getting your grant. It'll be free money from the government, but when you receive your grant we would like a payment of $239.00. I said I don't have to pay it until I receive my grant right. She said yes. I said ok.

She then put the recorded terms back on and I agreed. Then the opertor came back on and said I should receive a package in 7-14 business days. Well, that never happened.

I called back one evening it took 30minutes to get a hold of some one to be told that their computers were down because of all the bad wheather in florida call back the next day. I called back the next day. It took 30 minutes to get a hold of someone. The man told me I wouldn't get a package untill after I pay the $239.00. I said that not what I understood. He said you need to listen to the terms and condition again you agreed to them. I said well I don't have the money, so I don't want the grant. He ok I put in a cancellation. This was like october 29. On November 8 they charge my checking account with $239.00 and used a fake check number.
