I was a male client of Serena Gorgueiro, Psy. D - employee of Counseling & Consulting Services Inc.in Tucson. I was court ordered to see her because I was accused of assault (self-defense). Psychologist Gorgueiro specializes in sex offenders. During the examination she asked me, "How many children do you have, that you know of?" This type of interrogation is a form of patient abuse. I don't know if psycologist Surena abuses all patients equally or specializes in men - that is up to the Arizona Board of Psychology to determine. I simply know having a sexist psychologist evaluate men is like having the grand dragon of the KKK do psych profiling of black folk. It may result in a lot of return business for Counseling & Consulting Services Inc, but it is not good for the profession of psychology. It's all documented.
