Nothing in stock, won't deliver to retail store for pickup

Ordered a dining room set and made it clear to the salesperson that I wanted it delivered from the warehouse to the retail store for pickup within a week. These stores apparently have nothing in stock. Now I find out the order is still at their warehouse, demanding I go there to pick it up and will not let me speak to a supervisor when I call. I have yet to get a reply from the store.
