What's the point paying for an armed response company that neither lets you know nor investigates the source of the alarm

Just after night yesterday my alarm went down. I understand what period it had been since my friend was up late watching Television. ADT didn't contact me till after 2am. That is clearly a complete two hours. No body found the home both.

What Is the purpose spending money on an armed reaction organization that neither enables you to understand or investigates the origin of the alarm.
