Our experience with the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Display Cruise put on by Soundwave Entertainment aboard the THE SHERYLL PRINCESS leaving out of Pier 8, Emmons Ave, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY was one of the most horrible experiences we have ever had.

This cruise was advertised as a family entertainment cruise with all-you-can-eat buffet. It turned out to be the "urban hip-hop cruise from hell." There were far too many people on this boat to be comfortable, to the point where there were no chairs to sit down in, once the lower dining room filled up all you could do was stand. Drinks were $9 each, and they ran out of food. It was a 7 hour ordeal of loud pounding hip hop and rap music, overpriced drinks, no place to sit, and no place to watch the fireworks from.
