Hi there,

If you are interested in acting in 'The Red Cloak' in PA directed by Andre Martin, here's some help! He had a cast of people who came from various locations out of their own pocket. Their was no script read through and he kept postponing the time for shootings. When we arrived, Andre was no where to be found! He came an hour later and we we're kicked out of the shooting location. Then we started a different shoot and the props weren't there, so the 'Production designer' (AKA Andre's mom) went to the dollar store to get our props while everyone stood around smoking, not to mention there were kids in the film. An hour later they came back with the so called 'Props' and we started. We had to walk through thorn bushes at least 4 times and then we did another scene. After only two scenes done, it was 8:00. Considering we had no breaks, and the main actress was a child, we thought we were done. But we were not which we were all okay with. We went to do a scene in the house of Andre's mothers ex husband which was completely unproffesional and unsanitary with cat pee everywhere and a horrible oder. Then we were informed after a half hour there that we were shooting at the hospital instead. We stood around for 2 hours shooting nothing when we were kicked out... Again. We were told we would have a heavy day of shooting the next day and after no lunch or dinner at 10:00pm the cast was ready to leave. Call time was 5:00am the next day and as we were all getting ready, it was said that we were not able to shoot beacuse of the main actress 15 year old girl who flew to PA with no pay or reimbursments) quit. We were all mad considering Andre and the "crew" stayed up drinking all night. Some cast then met with the main actress at her hotel and she was informed that "shooting could not go on because of the weather and Andre was sorry she came all this way for nothing." We all wasted our money and time and all the cast walked out because of the unproffessionalism. Now he has an additional casting up and now this NO BUDGET 'Short film' is a 'Feature film'

As an adult actor from the area of PA I feel sorry for everyone involved and I hope that no one falls for this!
