SmartBaby Expo is where moms to be come and see products and services that are mostly mom-made

Recreation & Entertainment

On October 18th Smart Baby Expo hosted a event in Atlanta, GA. This is event promised to bring out new and expecting moms. The point is they have never had a show less than 2000 people show up. There are also suppose to be over 60 vendors there. When we got there, we are less than two feet between each vendor with 6 foot tables. We were promised promotional advertising too.

At this event there were less than 24 vendors and maybe 100 people showed up. Of'course what would usually happen in a situation like this is to send out a apology email to the vendors explaining to them that the event didn't go as planned and offer a partial or a total refund. The president of this company Mark Steckman has ignored emails from the partipates in this event. I purchase one of the "elite packages" that suppose to offered me advertising in the bathrooms, name on the wraistband, national media coverage, a sign (folded up name card) and a lot more. I received 0!!! All of this was offered to the vendors and we all got zero. Now my concern is that this company travels across the Southeast preying on Momsprenaurs that are trying to startup a great business that they would love to share with parents and they are being taking advantage by Mark Steckman organization. He is basically using our love for children to steal money from small business.
