Production company did not pay actors after admitting that they were paid by the advertising firm

I am a talent agent that booked several actors for a Giant Food commercial in Feb. 2009. The casting call was through a casting co.in Philadelphia. Sleeping Tree Films hired the casting co. To find actors. After the standard 30 days, I called Sleeping Tree Films re: my outstanding invoice. I was told by the accounting person Maureen and Managing Dir., Anne Terney that they have been paid by the advertising agency however, they are holding my company's money for the actors because there was some sort of dispute. I was told to call back in 2 wks. Since March of I have callled and emailed Sleeping Tree Films only to get the run around. My invoice was for $750. Mind you I only get 20% commission of that amount. This experience has been so frustrating, unprofitable and unprofessional on Sleeping Tree Films' part. No to mention my actors not getting paid which makes me look unprofessional. I recently called them and the phone no. Is no longer in order and their website is down. I advise anyone to never work with this co. They are theives!!! They claim to have offices in PA and NYC yet can't pay a $750 invoice in which they have admitted they were paid for by the ad agency. I was told by the casting co.in Philadelphia that there were not paid as well.
