Let's start from the beginning. As a somewhat impressionable individual I regularly searched through craigslist for both modeling and acting jobs in my Las Vegas area. I came across a posting labeled "Models and Actors Needed" of all shapes and sizes.
I thought that I would give it a shot. I was scheduled the exact day I called for an appointment and when I arrived there were many people waiting to audition just like me. They called me into the "audition room" where I was told to stand up in front of a camera, which I don't even believe to have been on, and there I was told to read a Coors Light commercial that looked like a 5th grader did the styling. I sat down in front of Robert Radin along with a panel of people, one who tried to take my credit card by the name of Tom, not sure his last name.
Then Robert proceeded to tell me that I had a rough reading and that he wasn't sure if I was ready. Then he asked me if I could make it to the auditions in LA or locally if he called me ahead of time. I said yes and the he asked Tom to "get me set up" so I could start auditioning. I followed Tom into an office down the hallway where he began to ask me for my credit card to buy headshots. I said I'd have to think about it and then he told me to wait and he went out into the hallway where I heard him and another lady complaining that I wouldn't give my credit card to him and he then came into the room and told me that this was my only chance and what was 375 dollars.
I decided to leave because I didn't feel comfortable. Out of curiosity I sent my girlfriend to audition shortly thereafter and she told me that this whole show played out for her as well almost word for word. Mind you she has never had any acting or modeling experience whatsoever.
These people are interested in charging your credit card for as much as they can with no intention of ever giving you what they promise.
