Two friends of mine and I went to see Michael W. Fox about model representation, one went alone.
I had an agent contact him to see how he operates. He is into how he is big in the modeling community but I found out that he was sent out of John Robert Powers, where he claimed to be involved in the firing of the woman who now runs Barbizon because she was lying to modeling student applicants about her supposed affiliations with MGM, Disney and others.

Powers dropped him while downsizing. He frequently badmouths others and if you get on the wrong side of him - watch out, because he will get even. He has no real ethics but he is a greasy glad-hander and extremely slick. Very little that he says is true. Powers carried him way too long.

Now that he needs to find models to manage, he works with the very woman he said he caused Powers to fire over her ethics. He now interviews the poor model wannabees at Barbizon to give them false hope and try to scoop up kids dumb enough to pay management fees like web site charges, etc Get it? Bad mouth Pamela but then go conspire with her to make her students think he's big and can help them, anything for a buck!

This guy thinks he's clever by not becoming an agent so he can both charge agent fees and manage you. I saw right through him when he badmouthed others in the industry. I went to see people he had put down and it became clear that this guy is bad for the industry. Don't sign with him, his contracts are non-enforceable crap and he even called them non-binding.

He claims to be pals with top agents in town, then he tells me that one of them never pays its models, calls itself international (offices in Canada but none overseas) and that all the big agents charge you for photography, but then he wants money to put you on his web site.

Please do not take my word for any of this, take a chance and go learn for yourself, he's cute if you like rude shorties. His office is a loft with a scary entrance.
