Defective Blank Pirate Thirtysomething DVD Collection Sent Mailed From

Recreation & Entertainment

I placed an order on May 9 to purchase the television series Thirtysomething on DVD. When the set of 21 discs arrived they were not acceptable, some completely blank, others damaged, no titles, some obviously video taped with a recorder placed in front of a television set. Very poor product, defective.

I requested a full refund on both June 12 and July 2, both times I spoke with a customer service rep named Val. Each time I was told my refund request had been sent to the billing department and they were processing the refund, however I received my latest credit card bill and no such credit has been issued.

The amount in dispute is $110.58, this includes the price of the DVD set in the amount of $88.99 plus 421.59 tax. I was told I would receive a full credit to my visa in the amount of $110.58. I was also told the company would be sending an envelope in which I was to send the DVD set back. I have received neither.

I would appreciate any assistance you could provide in this matter. I have also contacted the bank that issued my Visa card and they are investigating the matter as well.
