Best Concert Seats Held Back and Resold at Inflated Prices

This is not unique to Madonna and Stub Hub. It is a trend that is happening more and more, just recently with Neil Diamond, Celine Dion and Van Halen, to name a few. The choice seats are never made available for sale. For some Celine Dion shows, the best tickets were available on Ticketmaster's Ticket Exchange at inflated prices even before the shows went on sale.
More and more, the performers and the promoters are teaming up to charge what they perceive is the market value for the best seats. That leaves out the diehard fans who cannot afford $750 or $1000 a ticket for the first couple of rows. The best way for fans to fight back is to boycott these big coalitions or partnerships and to let the performers know that their greed is going to kill them.
