Ripoff steals money from Vendors and then hides

I had the unpleasant experience of dealng with Justin at Expos West a few years back in 2004.

We were contacted by Expos West to do a trade show (pool, spa and remodeling show) in Providence RI.

We were told that there would be at least 75,000 people comming through the door for the 4 day event. We were told that there would be an $80,000 advertising budget and that would include TV, Radio, full page newspaper ads and billboards.

We were also told that we would have exclusivity, meaning we would be the only dealer of our product there.

What we got was no TV or radio ads. One billboard on a minor road. No ad in any newspaper. And we had 6 other dealers with our products.

In the 4 day show, we had 14 people come through the gate at the show. We had no sales and a cost of over $2,000. Every other dealer at the show had no sales also.

And get this...
Justin (the owner of Expos West) told us he felt bad, but that is the way it goes. He then told us he was heading to the Bahamas with his girlfreind and would not be available.
